An important soft magnetic material in military and electronic industries is mainly used as high-frequency transformer, high-power magnetic amplifier, pulse generator, universal yoke, inductor, storage and memory element, switch and control element, magnetic shield and transformer working under vibration and radiation conditions. Compared with other materials such as ferrite and amorphous materials, 3% Si-Fe thin strip has high saturation magnetic induction and high permeability, which can make the iron core very small. Because it is a cold-rolled strip, its surface is flat, the same plate difference is small, the shape is good, and the processability is good. It can be made into cores of various shapes and specifications such as CD, ring and rectangle, and has a wide application field and a wide frequency range (50H—20KH).

Uses of hot rolled silicon steel:

Hot-rolled electrical steel is mainly used for some small motors and micromotors, such as some motors for washing machines and range hoods with low quality, and some motors with high specifications and low efficiency can be used for hot-rolled 450.

Application of cold-rolled non-oriented silicon steel;

Basically, non-oriented silicon steel is used in the motor. The gap motor (water pump) mainly uses cold-rolled non-oriented and uncoated silicon steel. The motors used for welding machines are divided into DC motors and AC motors. The DC motors can use uncoated cold-rolled silicon steel, and the AC motors mainly use coated 600 non-oriented silicon steel.Uncoated cold-rolled silicon steel can also be used for motors of air compressors and air pumps.The micro-motor used in small household appliances mainly uses non-oriented 470. The main motor used for CNC machine tools is 470. The motors used for air-conditioning compressors are mainly 600, 800, 1000 and 1300, mainly depending on the requirements of air-conditioning manufacturers.
